Irregular Choice, an eclectic U.K. based shoe brand, is launching a Star Wars-inspired line ahead of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens release on Dec. 18.
The company's founder and designer, Dan Sullivan, worked with Disney to produce realistic products that stayed true to the original characters.
The 14-piece collection, which includes C-3PO flats, lightsaber heels and R2-D2 pumps, is not your ordinary assortment of footwear. Many are designed with interactive audio components and light-up features.
“I have always been a big Star Wars fan and having had huge success with our seasonal character heels over the years it made sense to try and explore new collaborations with Disney," Sullivan told the Daily Dot. "They loved the fact we were coming at it from a unique perspective and designing something like no other collaboration has offered before."
As many brands have realized, Star Wars products sell. Adidas created a limited edition sneakers, Nicholas Kirkwood designed Star Wars heels, and CoverGirl released a similarly themed makeup collection.
If you're eager to feel the Force on your feet, pick up a pair of Irregular Choice’s limited edition Star Wars shoes at select retailers and on their website starting Oct. 30.
