As George Lucas liked to say, when defending his continual monkeying, the Star Wars
films are art. And in this remix world we live in, part of being art is
being reinterpreted by other artists. Safe to say, though, that Lucas
never envisioned his characters as being quite this trendy.
But Hong Kong artist John Woo (no relation to the film director) decided to place the saga's characters in a modern context by drawing them as they would look in the latest fashions. The effect is dissociative, to say the least.
